Today was pretty much more of the same for us and Lincoln. One of his doctors talked with us this morning and said things are still looking good...nothing abnormal happening for a preemie of his age. He's still on oxgyen because his lungs are just still too immature. The nurses are great and always keep him resting comfortably annd one thing is for sure...Lincoln is really cute! It's still crazy to look at him and call him our son. Sometimes I think April and I forget that he's not even supposed to be here yet...it's weird. We had a good conversation about how easy it is to worry about him. Even with all of the reasurring from nurses and the stuff we read, we just can't help but worry. If there was ever a time that we are having to learn about waiting and patience...it's definetly now! Hard stuff to have to learn. It feels kinda selfish to ask for prayer for us when Lincoln needs prayer more than we do...but pray that we would be able to give up control and be able to rest in knowing that God has the future all figured out. Also, please continue to pray for Lincoln's lungs and digestive system...that they would get stronger and stronger each day.

What a precious little one. I love the shape of his lips and little mouth!!! I can't wait to see him in person! It isn't selfish to ask for prayer for yourselves at all, you are being responsible parents! Continuing to lift you up ~ actually several times a day and through the night. Blessings, H

April, you look absolutely stunning in that photo. Motherhood is definitely natural for you. You have a glow about you that far surpasses your wedding photos (and I didn't think that was even possible!). I can't believe how much bigger he already seems. We're continuing to pray for Linc and you two every day. Please continue with all the updates.

Oh you guys, he gets cuter everytime I see him!!! Glad to hear he is doing well :) I pray for you often but will definitely be praying about the waiting and the patience, after waiting 2 years to finish the adoption process we have learned a lot about not having control and you are so right, it is hard. But giving it all to the Lord brings much more peace than trying to carry it all on your own. God is good...and you are in my prayers.
